Live Bar, June 29th recently, Downs was interviewed by GQ reporters.
In the interview, Downs pointed to his left ring finger and said, “I leave the position of this finger to the championship ring.”
“I won at all levels of competition, except for college, which is a pity. But we did something special and created a lot of history. Did I say that my college career failed because I didn’t win the college championship? I don’t know if I can call it failure. I became the number one, took care of my family, created opportunities, and became an example for those children around me who thought NBA was out of reach. I don’t know if I can say these are failures.” Downs added.
