When asked about his greatest strengths, Amen-Thompson replied, “I think I am best at switching, fast attacking and turning defense into attack. During the fast break, I felt that I was unstoppable.”
When asked about his idea of coming to Houston and visiting the Rockets before the draft, Amen-Thompson continued: “I love Houston and love the culture of this city. I can’t explain. For some reasons, I have been imagining the possible situation when I became a member of the rockets. I don’t say this because I am about to join the Rockets, but I don’t know how to describe this feeling. In a word, it feels like fate.”
