Live Bar, June 9th recently, an eastern executive was interviewed by American media Heavy and talked about the rumor that Harden wanted to return to the rocket.
The executive said: “Rumors about his possible return to the rocket have always existed, but my understanding is that this is just a means of negotiation. Harden knew that 76 people would not give him a pay-as-you-go contract. He was no longer a pay-as-you-go player, but he wanted Philadelphia to let himself come back and was willing to give himself a pay-as-you-go.
“The rocket is changing. What is the connection between Harden and these newcomers? A group of young Rockets players are growing. Why do they sign back to Harden, a player who likes to go to nightclubs?”
Harden will earn $35.65 million next season. He has player options during the off-season this year and can choose to jump out of the contract.
