Scotto reported that when Monty signed the piston, the coach and agent of the whole league laughed from ear to ear.
One of them sent a text message to Scotto: “Monty’s deal is good for business.”
Monti had previously signed a six-year contract of 72 million dollars with the piston. In addition, the contract (plus reward clauses) may reach a maximum of 0.1 billion dollars, including team options in the seventh and eighth years.
