Live Bar, June 9th news Heavy website reporter Sean Deveney news, an NBA eastern league executive said that the Sun wanted to see if there was any way to get the trailblazer Star Lillard.
“There are a lot of things that can happen there,” the executive said. “The Sun needs to strengthen the depth of their lineup. They want to release the salary space, and they want to see if there is a way to introduce Damian (Lillard). They want to see what they can do with DeAndre Ayton. There are many things on the table. The Lakers also need to know what they should do with Russell. They didn’t want to let him go in vain. They exchanged him with a pick. Who knows if they (Sun) can let Chris (Paul) sign a basic salary contract or something. But if this is a straightforward thing, just give Paul 15 million dollars (the remaining contract guaranteed amount) and move on. Everything else is equal. According to Chris Haynes, the Sun plans to cut Paul, while Sun reporter John Gambadoro said that the team has not yet made a decision on Paul’s future.
