Parsons said: “Basically, the Lone Ranger has to send everyone away, and they have to give away every choice, which is meaningless. But when you have the chance to get James, you will try, but you will only get the right to use it for one year because he wants to play with brownie. Even if this can really happen, how do you build a team? Everyone has to get the basic salary, so I still think this is impossible.
“It’s hard. You want to make your team stronger and you want to make your job easier. You will try your best to get good players. When I played in Dallas, DeAndre Jordan broke my heart.”
In the summer of 2015, Jordan reached a verbal agreement with the Lone Ranger, but then renewed the contract with the Clippers.
