Elliott said: “I talked with Bobo. Our expectations for him are realistic, and the expectations of fans and media for him are unrealistic. He is only 19 years old. He is going to adapt to NBA. It will not be easy. He can understand. For me, I think we will become a better team in the new season. He will make everyone better and more importantly lay the foundation.
“We will win more games, but I can’t talk about the playoffs because there are too many changes in a season. People say that he should be stronger. I don’t think so. This is not the 1980 s or 1990 s. The NBA confrontation is not as good as before.”
