Live Bar, June 30 according to ESPN Lakers reporter Dave McMenamin, sources revealed that the Lakers wanted to leave Schroeder with the middle exception or the two-year exception.
According to sources, the Lakers want to use the full middle class (about 12.4 million) to sign Schroeder and another potential recruit. If the subsequent renewal and recruitment cause them to lose the full middle class, the Lakers will consider signing Schroeder with a special case of two years (about 4.5 million).
According to reports, some league executives believe that Schroeder will attract the interest of other teams with middle-class exceptions.
