When talking about SMAT being traded, White said: “This deal is crazy. I have received a lot of love and respect. It is my honor to play with smat. I wish him all the best in Memphis. But I am also very happy to play with Porzingis, so I am looking forward to it.”
When talking about smart, White said: “You can’t replace what Smart did at both ends of attack and defense. There is only one smart. He is very special. He always urges me to make me better. He made up for many mistakes we made last season. This (Smart’s departure) will be a big hole to be filled. Everyone must stand up and try their best to fill these vacancies.”
In the previous three-party transaction, the Green Army sent Smart to the grizzly bear and got the bolzingis, the sign No. 25 in 2023 (from Grizzly Bear), and the first four protection rounds of the Warriors in 2024 (from Grizzly Bear).
